JOHN H. RENAULT - SECOND VICE-PRESIDENT
I have lived in Hill Valley since 1969 with my wife of 53 years, June. We have three daughters who graduated from Perry Meridian High School and IU. I have been an active member of the board for the last 16 years. I have been the membership chairman from 1993 till 2008.

I am a native of France, where I used to be a member of the French Resistance prior to becoming a Math and Physics instructor. Arrived in this country as a beneficiary of the Marshall plan, became a US citizen and have worked the last 35 years as an Electronic Engineer specializing in high frequencies: Radar, Satellite Communications, Automatic Pilots, etc. This is the way I was involved in the design of the telemetry transmitter for the Apollo capsule, and the RF feasibility study for the AWACS aircraft. I also worked for several local companies: RCA (Video Disk), Wavetek (Test equipment), Electra (Bearcat Scanner), and Regency (Satellite Communications). Have also worked as a substitute teacher at Perry Meridian High School.

Presently retired; occasionally translating French to English and vice versa for different organizations, teaching French at Central Nine.
