IMPD S/E Report.  Lots of new information from IMPD.

Thanks to Gary Loveless and Jeff Cardwell, we think the flooding on Buffalo Creek has been repaired (actually, repair work has been done on the retention pond that caused the problem in the first place). There is some doubt as to the strength of the repair so the problem may resurface at some time in the future. We are hoping it will last at least as long as the year that it took to convince the property owner to make them.

City-County Council Clears Way for Over $65 Million in New Capital Investment, Retention of 1,733 Jobs, addition of 745 New Jobs.

Engage Indy Partnership. Portal Links Businesses, Employees, Individuals with Community Groups, and Volunteer Opportunities.

Gas, Water, and Sewer will be merged together into a single package. Eventually, in a year or two, you will get a single bill for all three.

Project RAD. Information about alcohol and its consumption. This is a very good newsletter and has information about a Community Fund Grant that is available.

Keep The Lights On. Help IPL keep the lights on by being the eyes for them.

Improvements to the Indianapolis Sewer Program.  The new Consent Decree program is slated to reduce sewage overflows from the current average of 7.8 billion gallons per year to 414 million gallons.  The Deep Rock Tunnel Connector is more than six miles long and will extend from the Southport Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant to north of the Belmont Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Getting rid of unwanted and unused household hazardous waste is easy by using the Indianapolis ToxDrop program. This includes old televisions, computers and computer monitors, exhausted batteries, weed killer, paint, fertilizer, etc.

Residents are asked to help reduce neighborhood flooding by clearing leaves from storm inlets.

It is a violation of zoning laws to park commercial vans and trailers in our neighborhood, whether in the driveway or on the street. Please park these elsewhere on commercial property. Incidents are being reported to the new Office of Code Enforcement for fast response.

Unleashed dogs are causing concern to many neighbors. Curbing requirements are also being enforced. Incidents are being reported to Code Enforcement.
