Patty Graff  317-331-1481    1st Vice-President, Newsletter Editor and Garage Sale Coordinator

I am originally from Louisiana, but I was raised in Northwest Indiana. I have lived in Indianapolis for over 27 years. I lived in West Hill Valley for 5 years, and then moved to East Hill Valley where I lived for over 3 years. I am a single mother of three older children. Two have graduated from Perry Meridian High School and are in college while my youngest is currently a student at Perry Meridian High School. My older two children were members of the Perry Meridian High School Cyber Blue Robotics team. I work full time in the medical field, and I’m going to college to become a nurse. I previously worked at the Perry Meridian 6th Grade Academy. My two sons are members of the Boy Scout troop at St. Barnabas. I have been active in both Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts for over 15 years. I served as a Den Leader for Douglas MacArthur and Calvary Lutheran School. I was also my daughter’s Girl Scout Leader and Cookie Mom for over 10 years. I have been active in the PTA and PTL. My children and I are active members of South Keystone Church of Christ where we have attended for over 22 years.

I have been a board member for Hill Valley for over 10 years. I began as a Member, and soon became the 1st Vice President for the association. I currently hold three positions for HVHA: 1st Vice President, Editor of the quarterly newsletter for Hill Valley, and coordinator of the Garage Sale each year for Hill Valley. I’m proud to serve you all. We are extremely blessed to have such wonderful board members that put all of their blood, sweat, and tears into making this the best place to live in Indianapolis! Thank you all for supporting our association.

You can contact me at any time with questions, concerns, or ideas. We always welcome you to our meetings and continue to seek out new members to assist us on the board. Please contact me with any suggestions or ideas for the newsletter. I welcome your input.

Celia Woodard  317-881-7464  Treasurer

My family moved here from Illinois in June of 1965. We are Charter members of St. Barnabas Church. Our four children graduated from Perry Meridian. I was a stay at home Mom but also cared for 60 foster babies. In addition to volunteering as the treasurer of HVHA, I mentor two ladies at IWP (Indiana Women's Prison), serve on a couple of committees at church, collect items for 100 Christmas bags for the homeless for the past 8 years and collect items for the women to use at IWP as well as their Christmas bags. I participate in a bereavement group and suggest the best answer is to get busy doing things for others.

Thlasui (Sui) Tluangneh  317-859-7440  Member

I am originally from Burma (also called Myanmar) and came to the US in 1999 to study at Cincinnati Bible Seminary (now Cincinnati Christian University). After completing my study, I moved to Indianapolis in 2004, and in 2005 my wife and my six children joined me, and now, five of my children (four boys and one girl) have already graduated from Perry Meridian and only the youngest will be Junior this year there.

My family has lived in Hill Valley for 7 years during which many Chin families also have chosen this nice and welcoming place as their home. Though I am currently working full time at a Christian Organization, I am very pleased to have been asked to serve on the board as I believe I could use the experiences I got through my previous jobs at Catholic Charities and Exodus Refugee Immigration Inc (almost six years together). I am one of the 24 deacons at Indiana Chin Baptist Church, which has more than two thousand Chin members including my family.
